Create Value

Vanessa Ugatti | Create Value

You go and do your weekly shop. You pay for it and take it back to the car. You then realise you’ve forgotten a couple of things. Would you then go back and ask for the extra items for free?

Of course not. You wouldn’t dream of doing that.

Yet how come when it’s a service, clients may ask you for something without paying?

Because it’s not a physical item.

It doesn’t mean, though, that it isn’t of value to the client.

You have to convert it into business, that’s all.

You have to be willing to have the conversation.

My clients have stopped giving their time and expertise away for free. Now they are confident in charging fairly for the extra work.

It’s about seeing the value.

It’s about creating a new habit.

It’s about being fair to your business and yourself as well as your clients.

If you know that you or members of your team are over-servicing, then perhaps it’s time to stop.

How will you do that? If you don’t know how, then please get in touch.
